A Place Called "Trotterville"
Trotterville Farms & Aviary is a dream that was realized May of 2015, with over a half a decade of breeding experience thrown in the mix beforehand. We are a small aviary with more than a dozen large and small bird breeds. Our birds are treated like individuals and loved like pets and aren't merely a meal ticket or a breeder bird. Honestly, the term breeder is heartbreaking so we prefer to call them what they truly are: our parent birds. Each baby stays with their parents until they are at least two-weeks of age for optimum health and growth. They are then hand fed and begun taming - being introduced to other bird breeds, several other animals and human interaction with all age groups. Our clientiel has successfully consisted of a majority being children - ages 2 to 10. Quite frankly, raising and taming birds isn't a "job" but more of a daily adventure on a place we've grown, in love, called "Trotterville Farms".
